Without our volunteers, we would not be able to run many of our programs which are creating economic, educational, and spiritual change in Nicaragua.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare your personal and professional life to make a commitment to serve abroad
Integrate yourself into the Opportunity Nicaragua team
Always bring a professional work ethic to your assignment and give your service priority
Recognize that you will be perceived as a representative of the people, cultures, values, and traditions of the United States of America
Commit to improving the quality of life of the people with whom you live and work and, in doing so, share your skills, adapt them, and learn new skills as needed
Long-term volunteers (1+ years) for Opportunity International Nicaragua will receive a monthly living allowance to cover the cost of food, transportation, and other living expenses.
